John Roark Obituary
Franklin - Dr. John Hamilton Roark, Sr., age 65, of Franklin, TN, and Cadiz, KY, passed on Monday, July 23, 2018.
Dr. Roark was born in Helena, AR, on February 23, 1953, son of the late Charles and Mary Roark.
John Roark practiced General Surgery in Hopkinsville, KY for 25 years. In retirement he enjoyed fishing and traveling.
Survivors include his loving wife, Claudia Fox Burns, sons, J. Roark and Carl Roark; stepdaughters, Paige Fox (Nick) Sparacino, Hadley Burns (Christopher) Sivley; grandchildren, Colin and Stella Sparacino.
The family will hold a private Celebration of Life at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of John can be made to University Heights Academy, 1300 Academy Drive, Hopkinsville, KY 42240.

John was such a wonderful man. I'm grateful to have known him from our days together in General Chemistry at Hendrix College. I'll miss our occasional calls to catch up on past few friends and our families. My love and appreciation to Claudia for the joy you brought to his life. Teresa Osam.
