Murfreesboro, TN - Katherine Street Sharp, age 96, died on December 1, 2020. She was predeceased by her husband Alfred D. Sharp, Jr. and parents Thomas G. Street and Louise Hunt Street of Chattanooga, brothers Thomas G. Street Jr., Robert Street and Edward Street. Born in Chattanooga, she graduated from the Girls Preparatory School and Sweet Briar College, Virginia. During her years in Nashville, she was a member of the Junior League, served as President of the Diocesan Women of the Episcopal Church of Tennessee, as President of St. Luke's Community House and as co-founder of the This-n-That Thrift Shop supporting St. Luke's. She was a member of the Centennial Club and the Town and Country Garden Club. In addition, she served as President and Treasurer of CUSTOMART, a business she founded which featured custom tile designs and other ceramics.

Survivors include two sons, Alfred D. Sharp III (Kathy) of Woodbury, TN, and Thomas Street Sharp of Nashville, a daughter, Louise Sharp Reagan (Philip) of Murfreesboro, TN, two grandsons, Taylor Dandridge Sharp of Nashville and Elliot Harrison Sharp (Tessa) of Murfreesboro, TN, two granddaughters, Emily S. Brewer (Jason) of Smyrna, TN and Alaina Marie Reagan of Southwest Harbor, Maine, and eight great grandchildren.
