Kathleen BOZE Obituary

BOZE, Kathleen Wilburn Age 80 of Gallatin. September 26, 2010. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 28th at Family Heritage Funeral Home from 12:30 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be Wednesday, September 29th at 12 p.m., officiated by Brother Jerry Boze and Brother Jeff Blackwell. Burial will follow in Sumner Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Brandon Boze, Bo Gray, Zach Boze, Chad Meridieth, Tommy Boze, Johnny Cox, Bruce Jackson and Danny Herron. Born in Smith County on November 25, 1929 to Sally and Howard Wilburn. She was married for 55 years to Dewitt Bridges Boze, who preceded her in death July 1, 2004. Brothers, Howard Marshall, Glasgow and Billy, twin sister, Caroleen and sisters, Ruby, Arah and Bernice, also preceded her in death. Survived by two children, Don (Jan) Boze and Suzanne (Thom) Gray; grandchildren, Brandon (Sapna) Boze, Haley (Chad) Meridieth, Thomas Boze Gray and Zachary Witt Boze; two great grandchildren, Baylor and Emma Meridieth; step grandchildren, Peyton Gray and Morgan (Clay) Greif; a step great-granddaughter, Sarah; sisters, Modina Nixon, Frances Cox, Virginia Reid, Mary Small and several nieces and nephews. Kathleen was an active member of Salem Missionary Baptist Church for over 40 years, and will be remembered for her strong religious beliefs, her knowledge of antiques and her deep love of family. I will miss Kathleen. She and I were antique buddies. Although we did not know each other well, we talked at yard sales, estate sales, etc. She loved her family and I know all of you loved her. I will miss her and will be praying for all of you.
