Lenny brings back so many fond memories from the all nighters in the design lab at UT College of Architecture to our more recent get together at the AIA TN convention a year or so ago when he presented his vocation making banjos that helped to tune out the ups and downs of architecture. Lenny had his own style, take and twist on architecture , professors, state architects, peers, colleagues, AIA, women, and life in general. His wit was unique! His talent was sincere and pure. His watercolors are priceless and two hang above my bed where my wife and I sleep at night! Now they mean more than ever because they will forever remind me of a genuine friend who made you feel good and happy by just being close by. Looking forward to the day when we meet again!
Your friend who has always been one day older(July1,1947) until now when you become timeless!
Vance Travis along with my wife Rebecca send our prayers of love to you and your family...............

PEACE AND LOVE TO A DEAR FRIEND AND COLLEAGUE!

August 21, 2012

I met Lenny the first time when we were both at UT and rode home with a mutual friend. Argued all the way home and loved it and so did he. Had the great pleasure of getting reaquainted after college, meeting Kathy and spending time with them on many occassions and always enjoyed their company. Loved this guy and he always made me smile when saw one another.

Kathy and family I'm so sorry for your loss. If my hurts I can't begin to imagine how hard this is on all of you.

Prayers and love from my heart to you all.
