Marie Anglin Obituary
Ashland City - Marie Gibson Anglin, age 89, of Ashland City, Tennessee went to be with her heavenly father Tuesday, April 14, 2020. She was born March 8, 1931 in Yuma, TN to the late John and Mary Ila Gibson. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Freeman Stanley "Stan" Anglin.
Marie was a lady with many accomplishments. As a teenager, she was a National 4-H winner. Marie was a graduate of The University of Tennessee where she earned her Master's degree and spent 39 years in the workforce. She was a Home Extension Leader for UT Agriculture and State Treasurer for the Association of Retired Federal Workers. Over her career, Marie received numerous awards for Top Home Economist of the State and she traveled extensively around the world.
Marie is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, John David Baddour Sr. (Maria); grandson, Zach Baddour; and grandson, John David Baddour Jr. (Victoria).
Marie will be laid to rest at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens, Saturday, April 18, 2020 with a private ceremony.
