Wow, Max I can't believe it has been 3 years since you left us here. I think of you often and the duck hooks at the golf course, they were so towering. I miss that dry sense of humor and our Friday nights. We are taking care of mudder and she is being a great grandmother. I wish you were still here because i miss that smile and all the good times on the golf course. I will see you again someday but suffice to say there are lots of us that miss you. Take care my friend.

Max was a true friend. In fact, he was my closest. I met him at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga; we were roomates. Soon, however, we became friends. I will miss this kind, gentle soul. He had this wit which is rare to find. You know, the kind of wit that makes you feel warm inside. He was also thoughtful and generous. I cherished our friendship. Although he may be physically gone, he will always be with us, forever. Truly, what makes life, in this world, so beautiful is that it has an end. Life in its essense knows no end. With this I believe Max is still with us. No words can express the sorrow I feel, but his memory will always ve in my heart. May his soul rise to the highest realm.
