Patsy Wilson Obituary
Madison - Age 87. Passed away peacefully on July 6, 2021.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Odis Robert and Mayme Elizabeth Elmore; husband, Ray D. Wilson; daughter-in-law, Vickie Wilson.
Pat was born in Springfield, TN. She moved with her family to Hendersonville, TN and graduated from Hendersonville High School and later attended David Lipscomb University where she met her husband Ray D. Wilson, who preceded in death on March 13, 2011, after 57 years of marriage. After her children were older, she went to work for National Life and Accident Insurance Company (AIG), and retired after 20 years. She then went to teach for Creator's Kids Preschool at Madison Church of Christ and also worked for Goodpasture Christian School. Pat and Ray were members of Madison Church of Christ, since 1957. While at Madison, she was active in many departments, meals on wheels, taught in the primary department for 25 years, one of the funeral singers, and worked alongside her husband Ray, who was an Elder for 12 years.
She is survived by her son, Donald Ray Wilson; daughters, Diane Wilson (Lance) Crawford and Denise Wilson (Stephen) King; nine grandchildren, Lindsay Born, Amanda (Jeremy) Coones, Lauren (Nathan) McDonald, Ashley (Dustin) Chester, Robert Ray (Aasha) Wilson, Jennifer (Brandon) Black and Emily (Chase) Bilyeu; William Thomas (Elizabeth) Wilson and Rachel Hickman; thirteen great-grandchildren, Tristan, Emeline and Evelyn Born, Coraline, Willow and Violet Coones, Kate and Marshall McDonald, George and Eleanor Chester, Zoe Rae Black, Oliver and Emma Wilson. Pat is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Wayne and Ruth Hickman, nephew Michael (Shannon) Hickman, nieces, Elizabeth (Dr. Richard) Martin and Julie Craig, as well as several great nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to come share memories from 4 - 6 PM Sunday, July 11, 2021 in Bixler Chapel of Madison Church of Christ, 106 North Gallatin Pike. Life Celebration Service will start at 6 PM Sunday with Dr. Russ Corley officiating. Entombment, Spring Hill Mausoleum.

I´m so sorry to hear about your mother´s passing. She was a special lady, and I´ll always hold my childhood memories with you and Denise, and your mother as being special. Being at your home growing up was always a joy.
