Raymond Harvey Obituary
Murfreesboro, TN
Raymond Harvey, 48, of Murfreesboro TN, died September 27, 2016 after a 7-month battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife, Shannon Harvey; 2 sons, Brock and Mack; mother, Carol Harvey of Nashville; sister, Vera Hutcheson (Philip) of Brentwood & her children Hannah, Sam & Hank. He is preceded in death by his father, Vic Harvey. Visitation will be Oct 9 from 1-3pm on the Lipscomb Academy high school baseball field followed by a service held at the McCadams Athletic Center adjacent to the field. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to: Whitworth Buchanan Middle School c/o Baseball Program 5555 Manchester Pike Murfreesboro, TN 37127

These days always bring many memories and thoughts of Raymond! We remember him, as well as his family and friends who miss him so.. He and my son, Scott Shannon shared so much together! For Scott to be included in the Harvey Family, living with them when he needed a family away from home, gave he and Raymond a close bond. They shared Vic and Carole, life on Lipscomb campus, days on the baseball fields, friends, and most importantly, their faith. Surely, a journey was set in motion for each one, and the life that Raymond gave us to remember was his gift for us! Beverly Shannon Wilson
