Richard J. "Jack" "Turtle" Ross

Foley, AL

Richard J. "Jack" "Turtle" Ross, age 72 of Foley AL, left this world on November 2, 2013 to be with the Lord.

He spent his career as a Professional Studio Musician in Nashville, TN and was a lifetime member of the Nashville Association of Musicians #257. He was an active member of Gulf Shores United Methodist Church for the past thirteen years, where he continued his passion for music and served as a Stephen Minister.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard & Audrey Ross of Normal, IL.

He is survived by his wife & best friend, Annette Harris Ross (formerly of Shelbyville, TN); his brother, Mark Ross of Kerrville, TX; his only child, Michelle Lynn Ross Roatch of Stoughton, WI.

A memorial service in his honor will be held at Gulf Shores United Methodist Church on Sunday, November 10, 2013 at 3 p.m. with visitation at 2:30p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 840692, Dallas TX 75284-0692, or to Gulf Shore United Methodist Church, 1900 Gulf Shores Parkway, Gulf Shores, AL 36542.
