Robert Greene Obituary
Franklin - Robert Nolen "Bobby" Greene, Sr., age 89 of Franklin, TN passed away July 31, 2018. He was a graduate of Duncan Preparatory School. Former professional baseball player as pitcher with Boston Red Sox organization. Former President of Canada Dry Bottling Company of Nashville and partner of Greene Double Cola. He served as a deputy Chief of Staff for the TN State Legislature. He was heavily instrumental in the development and operation of Christian Executive Officers (CEO) Fellowship. He was an avid golfer and was the former manager of Temple Hills Golf Club and general contractor of Temple Hills Phase II residential development with John Rochford. He was a faithful servant to his Lord and Savior and a deacon and member of Grassland Heights Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Andrew Roy, Sr. and Jessie Lee Nolen Greene; brothers, Andrew Roy Greene, Jr., Glenn O'Brien Greene; mother of his children, Martha Webb Greene; grandson, Jarrod Allen Watson and great grandson, Owen Gabriel Greene. Survived by: wife, Imogene F. "Gene`" Greene; sons, Robert N. "Bob" (Alice) Greene, Jr. and Cliff (Kelly) Greene; daughter, Cristi G. Watson; step daughter, Connie (Tom) Sanders; brothers, Charles "Charlie" (Dorothy "Dottie") Greene and Joseph "Joe" (Michelle) Greene; sister, Dot Parrish; grandchildren, Amy Greene, Robert N. (Erin) Greene, III, Lindsey (Nick) Campbell and Justin (Melinda) Watson; step grandchildren, Brandy (Stewart) Johnson and Kelly (Ron) Poston and sixteen great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Grassland Heights Baptist Church, Pastor Rusty Trotter officiating. Visitation will be 4-8PM Friday at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to Grassland Heights Baptist Church.

I miss you so much, Daddy. I can hear your voice as if you were right here with me. I am so comforted knowing you are home with Jesus and all the family who has gone before you. Every time I left you I told you I would see you later and you responded I sure hope so. Thank you, Lord, that I can rest assured that ,yes, Daddy, I will see you later. No goodbye!
