Robert Jr. Was a friend and Son all wrap in one. On him I could always depend, now the pain never seems to end. His calls during the night, gave my darkness light. His love, to many he freely gave. My Broken Heart now bleeds pain and hurt, Lord knows I miss him so much. Over a hundred miles away he has been laid to rest, to keep that from happening I did my best. At least his grave is near his wife and kids, they loved him just as I did. Yet the pain that makes my tears flow, from my heart the pain won't go. I pray that the Lord heals my broken heart, and gives me a new start. Sometime the tears rolls down my face like the falling rain, so I cry God please take away the pain. All alone in my bed at night, my tears I must fight. And during the day, busy I try to stay, so nobody sees the tear I wipe away. His precious memories are here with me, and someday his face I hope to see.

I just found out this year that u where gone and it hurts me bad. I just thought since I hadn't heard from u was because u were in jail or something but when a mutual friend told me what happened I fell out. I'm gone miss u popping up on me anywhere i may be. I don't care where I was he would find me. My friend til the death of me and I'm missing u so much. I will always love u for everything u ever tried to do to help me.

One of my fondest memories that I will hold in my heart forever is when Uncle Robert, Grandaddy and you and Julia came to Louisiana. I had the best time with y'all and I will never forget it. We spoke a few years ago about meeting up when I came to Memphis. I came but wasn't able to see you because you were taken away from me before I could speak to you. Cousin, I love you and I will miss you. Please give granny and My Brother hugs and kisses for me. I'm going to miss you. Rest Easy Cuz!
