Survived by wife, Rose Marie Porter-McFarland; sons, Darron Bailey & Mitchell McFarland; daughter, Sydne' McFarland; mother, Janet McFarland; Paternal Grandparents; 3 brothers, 3 sisters; numerous other relatives & friends. Public viewing Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2017 from 3-8pm at Highland Hills Chapel, 2422 Brick Church Pike. Visitation Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2017 from 11AM-12noon with the Celebration of Life at 12 noon at Bethesda Original Church of God, 2816 Tucker Rd., with Pastor Derek Miller, eulogist. Interment, Greenwood North Cemetery.

My condolences goes out to the McFarland family.
I counted Steven as a childhood friend I came to know as a pre-teenager through young adulthood. Steven was a buddy. He was someone I admired for his character and intellect. And I as many had to respect because of his physical gifts that God granted him with. Forever he will be missed. See you in heaven Steven.
