Vera Brown HARRIS

HARRIS, Vera BrownAge 89 of Mt. Pulaksi, IL, formerly of Nashville, TN, died at 12 Noon, July 4, 2012 at the Christian Village in Lincoln, IL. Vera married Walter C. Harris of Nashville, TN in February of 1992, and he preceded her in death in August of 2003. In the fall of 2003, she moved to Pekin, IL to be near family. She is survived by one daughter, Darlene (Jeff) Thompson; one son C. Wayne Downing; three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Johnny Brown of Sparta, TN and Grady (Elizabeth) Brown of Nashville, TN; a step-daughter-in-law, Claynita Harris and two step-grandchildren, Seth Harris and Breena Harris, all of Nashville. She was preceded in death by an infant brother; her parents; one brother, Joe C. Brown and one sister, Jessie Bell.
