William Battle Obituary
Nashville, TN
William T. "Tom" Battle, age 86, passed away peacefully with family Sunday, April 6, 2014 at Summit Medical Center in Hermitage. He retired from the U.S. Air Force after 20-years of service.
He was preceded in death by parents, James Marshall Battle and Grace McCurdy Battle of Nashville.
He is survived by daughters, Pennie S. Battle and Wendy Judd, both of Huntington Beach, CA; sons, Jon M. Battle of Kalispell, MT, Tom S. Battle of Nashville, TN, Ron M. Battle of Bellingham, WA; 10-grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 3 p.m., at Donelson Presbyterian Church, with Pastor Paul Casner officiating.
His body has been donated to Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. His Interment will be at the Nashville National Cemetery during a future service, with military honors.

Mr. Tom would drive the Mustang up to the Ole Dinner Bell restaurant. He would get Pinto Beans, Green Beans, Turnip greens and cornbread. A Gentelman who will be missed.
