Brenda Hatch Obituary
Brenda was born on November 7, 1946 in Little Falls, NY to Steve and Ruby (Wagner) Mizerak. She was a graduate of Little Falls High School and married William Hatch on September 23, 1967 in Herkimer, NY.
She worked for Corning Public Library and Community Bank. She volunteered for Corning Hospital, the library, sang in the Resurrection Choir and church choir at All Saints Parish. She enjoyed playing piano, singing, travelling, and was a cat lover.
She is survived by her husband William; daughter, Jennifer (Andrew) Webber of Horseheads; sons, David (Kendra) Hatch of Carlisle, PA, Glenn (Lisa) Hatch of Corning, Justin (Ana Maria) Hatch of Elmira, and Jason Hatch of Corning; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Lawrence (Gale) Hatch of Ilion, NY, Beverly Kucerak of Herkimer, NY, and Cathy (Eric) Jantzen of Herkimer, NY.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, October 18th from 6 - 8 PM at Haughey Funeral Home, Inc., 216 E. First Street in Corning. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 AM on Friday, October 19th at St. Mary's Church, 155 State Street in Corning with Father Matthew Jones officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to All Saints Parish, 222 Dodge Avenue, Corning, NY 14830 or to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
Brenda's family entrusted her care to Haughey Funeral Home, Inc.
