Jesse Tyler Obituary
Jesse is survived by two daughters, Amanda Ford (Scott Hayes) of Corning, and Lorinda Tyler (Joshua Black) of Campbell; sisters, Paula (Anthony) King of McMinnville, TN, and Evelyn (Michael) Hall of Bath, NY; brothers, David (Mary) Tyler of Leroy, NY, James (Maria) Tyler of Campbell, Dean (Valerie) Tyler of Campbell, and Dana (Deborah) Tyler of Tyrone, NY; grandchildren, Alysia Black and Cassidy Black of Campbell, Spencer Hayes of Corning; sister-in-law, Susan Tyler of Campbell; as well as, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Pamela Tyler and his brother, Wayne Tyler.
Jesse was a 1971 graduate of Savona Central School and went on to work as a millwright at Corning Glass Works. He retired from Corning Incorporated in 2008 after more than 35 years of service. He was a member of the American Flint Glass Workers' Union and a member of the Campbell Sons of the American Legion. He enjoyed road trips, restoration projects, woodworking, and playing cribbage with dear old friends. He was Jack of all trades and Master of all. He was a generous and loving husband, father, and grandfather who took great pride in the achievements of his family. He will be affectionately remembered as "the man with a twinkle in his eye and a song on the way".
Family and friends are invited to gather at the Robert N. Austin American Legion Post 1279 in Campbell, 8458 County Route 333, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2015. A memorial service will be held at Carpenter's Funeral Home, 14 East Pulteney Street in Corning at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 12, 2015. Jesse liked telling us how many days old he was, and I like knowing he'll be counting throughout eternity! He had so many interests and skills and was always ready to help others. He wasn't only our brother --he was a brother to many. And he will be greatly missed.

I'm sorry to hear of Larry's passing. We knew him from North Urbana Chapel when he asnd his wife, Pam attended there. He was a wonderful man and a dedicated husband to Pam. It will be a joyous reunion for them.

I was sad to here of Larry's passing. It has been a long time since I have seen him but I have fond memories from when we were younger. He could always make us laugh with his funny stories, songs and dancing. I know he will be greatly missed. Hoping your happy memories will comfort you all.
