Though Ron graduated from Addison High School, I met - and liked - him from our days at Northside High School. Many years following graduation, he and I re-connected when he arrived at Sullivan Park. Many were the times he would come to the office I shared with another of his friends from the past and we'd spend a few minutes talking, joking and just having a good time. During major holiday times, Ron would set up a display of vintage post cards appropriate to the holiday at our department's mail station where all could see and enjoy, winning him the praise of many more people than he knew. My condolences go out to his family - he was a friend and I'll miss him.
