Grady Goodman Obituary
He grew up in Rockwell NC. He served in the US Army, Signal Corp 1953-55, Private First Class Reserve for 6 years.
He came to eastern NC to study sewing machine mechanics at Wilson Technical Institute. He went on to teach the class in Wilson and Tarboro. He joined K & R Sportswear in Spring Hope, where he worked for over 25 years.
He was preceded in death by a young brother and his parents, Chal and Lydia Goodman. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Joan Stone Goodman and a son, Timothy Wayne Goodman of Cherryville, NC.
