Norma Mustian Obituary
Norma was born in Kentucky on July 27, 1945. She spent her career teaching high school English in both Kentucky and North Carolina. Norma was preceded in death by her husband, James R. "Sonny" Nance of Campbellsville, Kentucky and David Mustian of Wilson, North Carolina.
She is survived by her daughter, Tia Nance Gribble (Todd) and son, James "Jamie" Nance and daughter-in-law, Angie Webb Nance; her five grandchildren, Maggie Gribble Homiller, Abby Gribble, Brendan Nance, Henry Gribble, and Gavin Nance, who were all her pride and joy; her sisters, Rita Waits, Donna Reffit (Merle), and Sandra Barnett and many nephews, nieces, and great nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Dorothy Nichols and her beloved aunt, Gladys Nichols, and brother, Kelley Nichols.
Services will be held at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Wilson, North Carolina on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at 1:00 pm. Reverend Joe Shakour will officiate. A celebration of life will also be held in Shelbyville, Kentucky at a later time.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, PO Box 947765, Atlanta, Georgia 30394.
