Nancy M. Stokes, 82, of Trucksville, entered Heaven's gates on Sept. 23, 2021.
She was the daughter of the late Edward and Margaret Guydosh Stavish. She is a graduate of Kingston High School. She was employed at General Cigar and later worked at Back Mountain Lumber in the office. She was a member of Assembly of God Church.
Nancy was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother, and will be truly missed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, John H. Stokes, in 2013.
Surviving are her sons, John E. and his wife, Debbra, of Falls, David R., of Trucksville; daughters, Sharon and her husband, Jeffrey Ide, of Carverton, Kristen and her husband, Douglas Higgins, of Harveys Lake; She has eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Daniel Stavish and his wife Louis; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral on Tuesday at 11 a.m. from the Hugh B. Hughes & Son Inc. Funeral Home, 1044 Wyoming Ave., Forty Fort, with the Rev. Jack Rehill officiating. The interment will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Dallas. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
