Lafayette - Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 4, 2019 at an 11:00 AM Episcopal Service in Martin & Castille's La Fleur de Lis Chapel for Ethan Paul Anderson, 13, who died on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at his residence in Lafayette.

Entombment will be at the St. Joseph Mausoleum in Milton, LA.

The Reverend Brandt Montgomery, Associate Rector of Episcopal Church of the Ascension, will conduct the funeral services.

Left to cherish and to never forget his precious memory are his parents, Paul and Tonya Anderson; his big brother, Jacob Anderson; his big sister, Maddy Anderson; his paternal grandparents, Paul Frederick Anderson and Connie Anderson Bianco; his maternal grandparents, Donald and Jayne Carl; his uncle, Todd Carl and his wife, Elizabeth Landry Carl; and numerous cousins, friends, neighbors, teachers, classmates and teammates.

Ethan Paul Anderson was born in Lafayette, Louisiana to Paul and Tonya Carl Anderson. He was a proud and popular 7th grade student at the downtown campus of Ascension Episcopal School. Ethan was an avid sportsman who enjoyed tennis, basketball, baseball, football, skating, biking and playing video games. He really loved fishing and not only was he passionate about it, he caught fish even when no one else would. Ethan was widely renowned for being mechanically inclined and he enjoyed robotics, computers, engineering and all things technology related. He was also infamously known for taking things apart and trying to piece them back together; recently with only a few parts left to spare. Ethan was a true friend to everyone he met, always had a smile on his face, and he made sure everyone knew how much he loved and cared for them. He was a wonderful son, brother, grandson, nephew, friend and the type of special person who would never have wanted anyone to be sad and for them only to be happy, He will be terribly missed by all who knew and loved him and he will never be forgotten.

The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille's SOUTHSIDE location on Thursday, January 3, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and will continue on Friday, January 4, 2019 from 9:00 AM until the time of services.
