George Warren Obituary
LAFAYETTE - Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at The Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist for George William Warren, Jr., age 45, who died at 10:26 AM on Sunday, April 5, 2015 at his residence in Lafayette.
Reverend Neil McNeill, Associate Pastor of St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, will be the Celebrant of the Funeral Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Jodi Bollich, organist, will sing for the services, "Amazing Grace", "Ave Maria", "St. Francis Assisi", "How Great Thou Art" and "His Eye Is On The Sparrow".
Survivors include his wife, Kim Andrepont Warren of Lafayette; one son, Harrison William Warren; one daughter, Eleanor Louise Warren; and three sisters, Angela Foster, Shonda LaBorde and Windy Owen.
He was preceded in death by his father, George William Warren, Sr. and his mother Faye Warren.
George was a born on September 21, 1969 and was a native of Abbeville. He lived in New Orleans and Thibodaux and was a resident of Lafayette, Louisiana for the last ten years. He graduated from LSU with a degree in Accounting and was a devoted LSU fan. George worked internationally in the Oil and Gas and Boating Industry. He enjoyed the finer things in life: family, friends and traveling. Golf, LSU Sports, and NASCAR were his passions. He was a member of the Cathedral of St. John Catholic Church. George treasured his family and friends and will be sadly missed.
The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille's DOWNTOWN location on Wednesday from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday from 8:00 AM until time of service.
A Rosary will be prayed Wednesday at 7:00 PM in Martin & Castille Funeral Home by Brady LeBlanc.
