Patsy Cherry Obituary
NEW IBERIA - Funeral services will be at 6:00 PM, Tuesday, July 5, 2011, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia, for Patsy Cherry, 66, who passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2011 in Breaux Bridge.
Rev. Jonathan Moore will officiate.
Born on February 18, 1945 in New Iberia, Patsy was instrumental in the success of Sir Speedy Printing in Lafayette after which she retired with 10 years of service. She loved gardening, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughter, Cherry Nickels of Breaux Bridge; sons, Nolan "Joey" Pellerin, Jr. and wife Rita Kay of Breaux Bridge, Tracy James Pellerin and partner Clint Dore' of Lafayette, Walter Joseph Pellerin and wife Jessica of Erath; brother, Lawrence Henry Cherry of Alaska; sisters, Cheryl Cheramie of New Iberia, Barbie LeRouge of New Orleans; grandchildren, Nicholas Dane Pellerin, Kali Michelle Delcambre, Danielle Renee Thibodeaux, Brittney Janae Nickels, Joshua Ryan Nickels; great grandchildren, Breanna Serrette, Eric Delcambre, Jade Thibodeaux, Lilly-Ann Thibodeaux, and Noa John Nickels.
She was preceded in death by parents, Walter Cherry and Mary Bailey; and a brother, Tommy Lee Cherry.
A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd, in New Iberia.
