Philomena Ohlenforst Obituary
Rayne - Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 15, 2018 at a 2:00 pm Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne, LA for Philomena Leonards Ohlenforest, 95, who died Thursday October 11, 2018 at her residence in Rayne, LA.
Interment will be in the St. Leo IV Cemetery in Rayne, LA.
Survivors include her two daughters, Maria O. Kracher (Joe) of Lafayette, Dorita O. Comeraux (Richard) of Lafayette, son, Jude Ohlenforst (Gretchen) of Crowley, four grandchildren, Aline K. Bourque (Josh), Jonas Kracher (Jamie), John Thomas Ohlenforst (Brittany), Will Ohlenforst, seven great-grandchildren, Jude, Ava and Anna Clare Bourque, Dylan and Emma Kracher, Jack Wesley and Lily Grace Ohlenforst, three step grandchildren, Jennifer C. Strait (Adam), Ricki Comeaux, Andy Comeaux (Joie), two step great grandchildren, Andrew Bodin, Dalton Comeaux, four sisters, Ella L. Braun, Dorothy C. Leonards, Marcella L. Ohlenforst, Sylvia "Jeanie" L. Fruge, two brothers, Louis Leonards (Patty), Buck Leonards.
She was preceded in death by husband, John Frank Ohlenforst, parents, Ludwig "Louis" Leonards and Gertrude Dischler Leonards, two brothers, Blaise Leonards (Beradine), Edwin Leonards (Genevieve), three brothers in law, Bill Braun, Andrew Ohlenforst, Johnny Mac Fruge, sister in law, Bobbie Leonards.
A Rosary will be prayed Monday, October 15, 2018 at 12:00 pm noon in Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne LA.
The family requests that visitation be observed in Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne LA on Monday October 15, 2018 from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm.
Friends may view the obituary and guestbook online at www.gossenfuneralhome.net.
