Scott Olivier Obituary
CANKTON - Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 17, 2012 at an 11:00 a.m., Mass of Christian Burial in St. John Berchmans Catholic Church in Cankton for Scott Olivier, age 46, who passed away Thursday, March 15, 2012 at his residence in Cankton.
Interment will be in St. John Bechmans Catholic Cemetery in Cankton.
Mr. Olivier was a native of Cankton all of his life.
Survivors include his mother the former, Ethel Alleman of Cankton; his daughter, Kristin Olivier of Cankton; one grandchild, Aubrey Hidalgo; and one brother, Danny Olivier and his wife, Mona, of Mire.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alex J. Olivier; and his first wife, Lori Olivier.
A rosary will be prayed at 9:00 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 8:00 a.m. Saturday until service time on Saturday.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Hospice of Acadiana.

I just found out about Scott's death. Scott & I graduated together. He was always so sweet and kind. So sad that he was called home as such an young age. My prayers and condolences go to his family. He will be missed.

I was saddened to find out today, that one of my best friends during my years at Sunset High School has passed.
Scott Olivier was one of the first people who spoke to me when I stated at my new school. We became the best of friends and even played in a small band together along with Chad and Todd.
We both attended Tech School for a short time until I left for an Army Career. Rest in Peace Scott. You will be fondly remembered.
