Sue Gutter Obituary
ARNAUDVILLE - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am, on Friday, June 13, 2014, at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville, for Sue Ella Morale (Nanny Black) Gutter, 63, who passed away on Monday, June 9, 2014.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 7 am until 10:30 am on Friday, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Arnaudville. A rosary will be recited at 9:30 am on Friday.
Rev. Keenan Brown will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Evelyn Broussard and Gift Bearers will be Linda Broussard and Shuron Bogan. Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville.
Sue was a veteran of the United States Army who honorably served her country while being stationed in Seoul, Korea, Fort Ord, California, and Fort Hood, Texas. Sue enjoyed caring for others and loved family gatherings and was always the light of every event. She will be sadly missed by her family, friends, and everyone who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her daughter, Quentille G. Cormier (Boris) of Breaux Bridge; two brothers, Amos Morale, Jr. (Dawn) of Missouri City, TX, and Carroll Lee Morale (Donna) of Lehi, UT; three sisters, Linda Lou Journet of Lafayette, Jo Anna Morale Bogan (Ferrell) of Arnaudville, and Debbra Morale Warren (Richard) of Carencro; three grandchildren, Madesyn, Aydenn, and Kaimyn Cormier; her goddaughter, Shuron Bogan; and four aunts, Clara M. Broussard, Clara B. Broussard, Lillie Mae Broussard, and Virgie Mae Broussard.
She is preceded in death by her son, Chancellor Ignatius Morale; her parents, Amos Morale, Sr. and Evelyn Broussard Morale; maternal grandparents, Cramer and Mary Cluse Broussard; paternal grandparents, Joseph B. and Cecilia Miller Morale; one great niece, Baby Olivia; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Pallbearers will be Chancellor Ignatius Journet, Patrick Broussard, Amos Morale, III, Benjamin Morale, Bob Broussard, and Faris Broussard.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Arnaudville, 314 St. Landry St., Arnaudville, Louisiana 70512, (337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements.
