Alvin Joseph Obituary

Joseph, Alvin A native and resident of Donaldsonville, he died at 4:56 p.m. on Monday, March 20, 2006, at Prevost Hospital in Donaldsonville. He was 52. Visiting at Mount Zion Baptist Church, St. Patrick Street, Donaldsonville, on Monday, March 27, from 9:30 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Felton Ceasar. Interment in Protestant Cemetery in Donaldsonville. He is survived by his wife, Saundra Bennett Joseph; a daughter, Kimberlyn Johnson; three sisters, Rita, Martha and husband Austin Joseph, and Sherry and husband Dale Dennis; four brothers, Warren and wife Maude, Larry and wife Jacqueline, and Gregory and Christopher Joseph; four brothers-in-law, Mark Peters, Gerald Chaney, John Michael and Christopher Smith; two sisters-in-law, Myra Jarvis and Karen Oubre; nieces, nephews, including Steven Joseph, cousins, other relatives and friends, including Carol Clark. He was preceded in death by his parents, Israel Joseph Sr. and Ruby Johnson Joseph; a sister, Dianne Joseph; three brothers, Israel Jr., Henry and Jerome Joseph; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Willie Lee and John Smith; brother-in-law, Ted Bennett; and sister-in-law, Joan Peters. Brazier-Watson Funeral Home, Donaldsonville, is in charge of arrangements.
