We don't konw how strong we are until being strong is the only choice we have. This is one of the many lessons we learned from you, Tee. I miss you.

There are times when words cannot express the sorrows of the human heart.
This is one of those times.
For 91 years Amelia Bashful has been able to touch lives either through her classroom, through her music or church involvement (Choir Director, Organist, Pianist, Sabbath school Teach, weekly prison evangelism and visitation of the sick and shut in.
She taught school for 33 years and never saw it as her job, but her duty to serve in the development of the human intellect.
She was firm believer that no child should be left behind.
Miss Amelia Bashful (Aunt Tee) was a kind, caring, selfless, God loving person.
It was hard for me to understand, how she could give so much of herself yet be so happy with so little time left for self.
Aunt Tee always carried herself like a lady, with dignity and respect for self and toward others.
She loved her family dearly and unconditionally, even at times when we were least deserving.
The last name is Bashful, but there is nothing bashful, about how high Amelia Bashful set the standard for the Life she lived and the Example she left.
Too often we must lose what we have, to realize just how much we had.
