Anthony Miletello

1941 - 2021

Anthony "Tadon" Miletello passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at 5:45 a.m. at the Baton Rouge General Hospital. He was 80 years old and a resident of Valverda, Louisiana. He was born on March 27, 1941, in Valverda, LA to Salvadore P. Miletello and Margaret Pizzolato Miletello. Tadon enjoyed gardening his grand prize winning tomatoes, hunting, dancing, LSU and Livonia Wildcats sports, and teaching his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren all of his cooking and canning recipes. He especially loved spending time with his bride of 59 years, Mary Lee where she often fussed at him about making a "mess in her kitchen" and dancing their way through life. Preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lee Miletello; his son Mark Miletello; his daughter Tammy Miletello Cilano; parents Salvadore P. Miletello and Margaret Pizzolato Miletello; brothers, Paul Joseph Miletello, Nunzio "Nolan" Miletello, and Terry Wayne "Pete" Miletello. Survived by his two sons, Darrin Miletello, and his wife Pamela, and Jamie Miletello, and his wife Tonya, and his daughter, Polly Miletello. He also leaves behind four sisters, JoAnn Jarreau, Patsy "Cookie" Hutchinson, Rose Miletello, Jeanie Andre; two brothers, Charles "C.J." Miletello, Donald "Duck" Miletello. In addition, he leaves behind his ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 9:45 a.m. on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Niland's Funeral Home in Livonia followed by mass at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church located at 3523 LA-78, Livonia, LA 70755. Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 a.m. that same day. Burial will immediately follow Mass at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Cemetery located behind the church. Pallbearers will be Ethan Wilds, Jason Hutchinson, Mark Cilano, Joshua Cilano, Josh Laborde, Chris Miletello and Benjamin Cilano. Honorary Pallbearers will be Rogge Alexander, Frank Hidalgo, CJ MIletello, Anthony Commiato, Jim Scallan and Randall Scallan.
