I am a teacher at Fred F. Florence this year. Mr. Joseph gave me my first chance to educate our city's youth. I came to admire him as a principal, mentor and he was like a big brother to me. He is everything that I strive to be: A good Christian first, a good husband, a good father and a good principal. He will be sorely missed here at Florence and you all wil remain in my prayers. May God keep you in His perfect peace. Mr. Adrien Anderson, 8th Grade History teacher.

My sincere condolences to Charrell and the entire Joseph family.
I didn't have the pleasure of meeting Bryant, but I did meet Charrell at the No Limit Women's Expo and had an opportunity to eat at Salad Creations.

It's not always clear why the Lord calls us home when He does, but we have to trust Him. The Lord will always comfort you.

Keep the words from Proverbs 3:5-6 in your heart.

Joe, Linda and Family

Words are inadequate but prayer is always necessary and in order. Sincere prayers from a community of believers are being offered on behalf of your family now and for the times ahead. More than anything or anyone, "THE HOLY SPIRIT" is your comforter and he will be and do just as he promised! I know you are people of great faith and you will need to lean on and trust in that faith more than ever. Rejoice in the beautiful legacy your son left behind for all of the lives he touched.

To the Joseph and Carter Family

God must have needed a very special guardian angel, to have taken Bryant from such a very special family. There are no words from my lips that could comfort your heart at this time, but there is a God, he knows, and he cares. He knows every heartache, sees every tear, a word from his lips, can calm every fear, your sorrow my linger for a while, but suddenly vanish, for the Savior is waiting, somewhere above, to give you his grace, and send you his love.

With love and sympathy from

To Mr. and Mrs. Joseph and Family,
Please know that God is still in control and he will never leave us nor forsake us...We all grew up together in Scott United Methodist Church in Port Allen, La., where everyone was family...Mrs. Joseph, you and Mr. Joseph were the model parents for all the children and young adults at Scott..You both expected nothing but the best and you both shared and modeled those expectations with all the children who are currently young adults whether you knew it or not. I am hurt by this lost due to growing up in the same church with Bryant and Andre...This seems unreal...Continue to keep God first...

With the Love of Christ

My condolences and prayers go out to the Joseph family. I have many pleasant memories of Bryant as a neighbor(in baton rouge), classmate, and friend. Though it had been a couple of years since I spoke with Bryant, after reading several of the postings, it appears that he remained to be the same intelligent, outgoing, and respectful individual I knew. Bryant appeared to be very accomplished, as evidenced by his career and business venture. Most of all, it appears that Bryant was a very loving and caring husband and parent. In short, Bryant lived a life that rivaled the best. As a result of his life contributions, he has made this world a better place for those who knew him. I will continue to keep the Joseph family in my prayers.

Dear Linda and Ulysses,

I know only too well the agony of parting with a child, as my Marianna has been gone only five months. You both have a solid foundation of faith and know the strength of prayers. Nonetheless, there is no greater test of faith in this life than to struggle with the loss of a child. You have my prayers, my ear, and my heart. Mr. Joseph was a wonderful person. He cared about our children and I am greatful that my son got to attend Florence under his leadership. I will never forget the two occasions he brought my son home, because he thought he was going to be hurt by another student. Every since then I knew I could depend on him to handle any situation that may happen concerning my son, Tyrell. Thanks to his parents for making a man like Mr. Joseph. To Mr. & Mrs. Ulysses Joseph,
Bryant lived a life you can be truly proud of. "Judge a tree by the fruit it bears." He was my "homeboy", I myself am a Baton Rouge native and employee of DallasISD. Whenever our paths crossed, we talked about three things-faith, family, and food. He truly made a difference and his light and legacy shall live on in the students he inspired. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
