Catherine Sagona Bagala, 95, a native of Donaldsonville and resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana passed away on Friday, September 3, 2021. She was a graduate of Donaldsonville High School and a member of St. Francis of Assis and Ascension Catholic Church. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Marilyn Oubre and husband, David of Prairieville and one brother, Charles Sagona. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lucian Bagala; parents, Michel, and Mary Grisaffe Sagona; one sister, Annette Bagala and five brothers, Felix, Harold, Raymond, and Sammy Sagona. A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2021, from 10am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am at Ascension Catholic Church in Donaldsonville with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
