Cindy Marie Bravata

1962 - 2024

A native of Baton Rouge, Cindy Marie Bravata went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 15, 2024, at 9:15pm. Cindy was born on September 25, 1962. She had an incredible strength and determination for this life. She enjoyed exercising and stretching, playing bingo and spending time with her family, especially her daughter. Visitation will be held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Prairieville, LA on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, from 9:30 am until a funeral mass at 11:00 am. Interment will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. Cindy is survived by her only child, daughter Antonette Marie (Blouin) New (son-in-law Kelly) and grand dog Molly. Siblings include sisters Cathy Gauthier (Clinton), Charlotte Balfour (Thomas), brother Frank Bravata Jr. (Jeanne); half-brother Greg Bravata (Leslie); step siblings, Gina D'Aquila Watson (Stephen) and Paul D'Aquila; stepmother JoAnn Bravata; nieces and nephews, along with many others in her extended family. Preceded in death by her parents, father Frank Bravata Sr. and mother Rosemary LaBruzza Day, and stepfather Marvin 'Mike' M. Day. Also, preceded in death by her beloved dachshund Faith. She will be carried to her final resting place by loving family members. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Cindy's name to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society or your local Animal Rescue and Pet Shelters. Arrangements are with Church Funeral Services of St Amant.
