David Kamolsiri Obituary

KAMOLSIRI, DAVID VICHITR David Vichitr Kamolsiri, 24, a resident of Houston and former resident of Fort Smith, Ark., was killed in a helicopter crash in the Gulf of Mexico on Tuesday, March 23, 2004. He was born Dec. 16, 1979, in Ozark, Ark., to Vinai Kamolsiri and Lesa Reece Kamolsiri. He was a petroleum engineer with Unocal in Houston. David was a graduate of Southside High School and LSU and a member of Harvest Time Tabernacle. He is survived by his parents, Vinai and Lesa Kamolsiri of Fort Smith; a sister, Sarah Kamolsiri of Fort Smith; two brothers, Jesse Kamolsiri of Sacramento, Calif., and Mark Kamolsiri and wife Tabbatha of Fayetteville, Ark.; and his paternal grandmother, Champa Kamolsiri of Bangkok, Thailand. The family will visit with friends at Edwards Funeral Home, Fort Smith, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral service at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 1, 2004, at Harvest Time Tabernacle in Fort Smith. Graveside service at 4 p.m. Thursday in Russell Cemetery, Ozone, Ark. Pallbearers will be Christopher "Chunks" Arnold, Sean McArdle, Henry Seawell, Mark "Philly" Stalder, Reed Tisdal and Brandon Young. Memorials may be made to The Chair, LSU, Craft & Hawkins Department of Petroleum Engineering, CEBA Building, Room 3516, Baton Rouge, LA 70803-6417.
