Donna Soileau Obituary

Donna "Michelle" Soileau passed away suddenly on March 12 at the age of 41. Michelle was born on November 9, 1979 in Baton Rouge, LA, the daughter of Lafayette Elliot Moore "L.E." Jr of Watson, LA and Sharon Jean Morgan Moore. Michelle will be remembered as a loving daughter, mother, wife, sister, grandmother and friend to all. She had a passion for helping others in need and her legacy will live in our hearts forever. In addition to her father L.E., Michelle is survived by her husband, Lucas Soileau of Baton Rouge, LA, her children Brittany Mae and Cain Soileau, her beautiful grandchildren Joshua Dickens and Ariel Soileau, sisters Ashley Moore and Kayla Morgan Dupuy of Denham Springs, La and stepsisters, Nichole Whetstone and Shasta Wheat of Watson, La as well as numerous loving aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother Sharon Jean, her paternal grandparents Lafayette E. Moore Sr. and wife Mary Lou, Yvonne Jolly, maternal grandparents Marcus Eugene "Gene" Morgan and Joyce Mae Barnes Morgan, and Uncle Larry "Wayne" Moore. Visitation will be held at Live Oak Baptist Church on Saturday, March 20, 2021 from 11 am - 1 pm. Services at 1 pm followed by graveside service at Salem Baptist Cemetery. Revelation 21:4, "And He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away."
