I worked for David's Dad, Dr. Charles Greeson as a Nuclear Tech. for several years. I'm SO sorry for your loss. My son, Justin, age 24 died the same way in 2005. I know your heartbreak. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the whole family.

Dr greeson saved my life and my partners life. With the medication he prescribed me , I was able to stabilize my life . He was so easy to talk to in session . I felt I could tell him anything I was feeling .He was the best psychiatrist I ever had. I was upset to hear of his passing.

First time I met David, it was obvious that he had passion to treat patients. My patients who were treated by him, had nothing but highest regards for him. It is a big loss to see our colleague and friend pass away from us. God bless

Dr Greeson was an amazing Dr. But even more an incredible human being. He was such a caring, compassionate, understanding person. He wasn't your "average" doctor. He not once made me feel like he was judging nor looking down on me (when even I looked down on myself). He would always just continue to encourage me and actually talk to me not just as a Dr. But as a friend. Words couldnt even begin to describe the amount of gratitude I have for him.
He impacted so many lives in such a tremendous way and will be greatly missed.

Dr. Greeson saved my life. He's the only doctor I've ever seen that treated me with compassion and understanding. He gave me so many chances that I probably didn't deserve. I wish I had pushed my social anxiety aside for one second to thank him for everything he did for me. Thank you Dr. Greeson. You were a wonderful person.

Words cannot express how thankful I am for all that you did for me Dr. Greeson, how you encouraged me, how you helped me, how you never looked down on me even in the midst of some of the horrible choices I made, and your genuine care for my well being. I pray that you are at peace now and whatever you didn't have here I hope you have in Heaven. I'm sorry I never got the chance to tell you how much I appreciate you, but maybe somehow from where you are now you'll understand that God put you in my life 5 years ago because without your help I probably would have died. David was a dear friend, colleague,and therapist.No matter my mood arriving for an appointment his smile and way of putting things into perspective left me feeling much better no matter the length of time spent with him. We learned of Dr. Greeson's passing upon receipt of a card from his father today. Words can not express the sadness in our hearts and the tears rolling down our faces as we read the card for the third time in disbelief. Yes, he was a brilliant doctor and he will be greatly missed but forever remembered. Dr. Greeson shared much to help our daughter through a difficult time. Yet, she was excited to see Dr. Greeson for each appointment. God be with you and your family.

My heart has been so heavy today. I was completely shocked when I read the paper this morning. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends and all of the staff at Chiron. He has been such a blessing in my life... Just in the past year and a half I've known him. Full of wisdom, empathy, and always made me laugh! He helped me through some rough times in the past year. He was and will always be one of the best doctors, and I will miss him.

I was shocked to read of David's passing. I taught him in 5th grade at Westminster Elem. Teachers often remember their very special students. David was the one at the top of my list. Always a book hiding under his desk. What a voracious reader!
He gave me the best and most profound compliment when I saw him years later. The world has lost a most wonderful man.
