Ethel Pierce Obituary

PIERCE, ETHEL MAE WALLACE A retired employee of the Louisiana Department of Natural Resources and a resident of Baton Rouge, she died at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 22, 2006, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 62 and a native of Pontotoc, Miss. She was a 1961 graduate of Pontotoc High School and a 1965 graduate of Mississippi College. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Monday, April 24, was from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation resumes at the funeral home chapel Tuesday from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Phil Yoho. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. She is survived by a son, Randall Scott Pierce; two sisters, Hazel Foreman and Bobbie Ferguson; two brothers, Leo and Ray Wallace; and grandson, Nicholas Chase Pierce. Preceded in death by her husband, James Lester Pierce; daughter, Theresa Pierce; parents, Dennis Leo Wallace and Ona Mae Poole Wallace. Memorial donations may be made to Cancer Services of Baton Rouge.
