Janis's door was always open, her stove always warm, her heart always hopeful and her words always profound and kind. No better friend could anyone have, than her. I will miss her greatly. With her I gained a friend in Terry and a family-Sherill, Mike and Karen. Love ya'll all. We have a angel watching over us.

My dearest Terry and Karen. My heart hurts for you. Janis loved you both so much. She trusted you to help her through the tough times and you did just that. You are a blessing to her, giving strength and peace. Thank you so much for having me stay with her. We loved to visit to talk about old times and new. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a refreshing way of looking at life. I'll always remember her laughing and her comments on the absurdity of the world and the people in it. Much love. Ruth
