Johnny Haney Sr.

Retired from Baton Rouge City Parish, he passed on Monday, June 22, 2015, at 2:35 am while at Lane Memorial Hospital. He was 74, a native of St. Francisville, and a long time resident of Alsen Louisiana. Visiting will begin at 9:00 am Saturday morning until religious services begin. Religious Services will begin at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 27, 2015, at Antioch, A Full Gospel Baptist Church, 5247 Ford St., conducted by Bishop Gregory Cooper. Interment in Winnfield Memorial Park. Survived by his loving wife, Rose L. Haney; mother, Annie Haney; daughter, Diane Singleton; granddaughter, Courtney Singleton; grandsons, Corey Singleton and Aaron Elzy Jr; great grandchildren, Aubri & Jaiden; two brothers, three sisters, and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews who adored him dearly. Proceeded in death by his son, Johnny Haney Jr.; his father, David Haney; brother, Noble Haney; sister, Zenobia Haney McKiney; nephew, Gregory Haney; and great great niece Paris Stewart.
