Babygirl, I will never forget your beautiful soul and spirit. Girl I have a two-year-old now; I know he would have been crazy about you. I still, to this day, regret deleting that recording we made on my voice recorder because soon after, you were gone. I couldn’t believe I was living that reality; we had a tight bond as if you were my little sister. It’s 2021 now and I still see your sweet face along with the heartbreaking moment I saw you in that casket. I know you would have done great things here but we shall meet again so until then, I will continue making my mark. I miss you Mia baby and love you forever.

11 years ago on this Monday December 7th we laid to rest 'Our Sweet Beautiful Angel' with a lovely solemn memorial...and although her time on earth was all too brief, we cherish the beautiful memories we hold in our hearts of her through our everlasting and eternal love.

I still remember Levi bragging about his sweet La'Chante at work. He's such a proud daddy and my heart still aches for the entire family. I would've loved to meet La'Chante. I know she was a beautiful blessing. God bless the family and happy birthday Levi. Thanks for being a great big Bro to me in Port Allen.

I just found out a few days ago, that you lived right across from me. It's sad! I miss you everday at P.E, Science class, and social studies class. We ask ourselves, "Why her?"
Well, we can't question God! He had a reason, an unknown reason, but he wanted a smart, beautiful, and sweet angel. He wanted her smile to light up heaven! (like it did when I was feeling down) ILYSM La'Chante! You are greatly missed! :(

My heart goes out to your family. LaChante's presence has been greatly missed so far. I still look for her smiling face and hug when i go to pick up my boyz from Daycare. Chad, Teri and Dallas I am so sorry for your loss. From a mother that has lost a child I understand what you are going through, but you faith in God will get you through and make you a stronger family.

God’s Loan
“I’ll loan you for a little time, a child of Mine,” he said
“For you to love while she lives, and mourn for when she’s dead.
It may be six or seven years, or twenty-two or three.
But will you, till I call her back, take care of her for Me?
She’ll bring her charms to gladden you, and should her stay be brief
You will have sweet memories of her for solace of your grief.
I can not promise she will stay, since all from earth returns,
But there are lessons taught down there I’ll want this child to learn.
I’ve looked the wide world over in my search of teachers true,

My dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all what God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
