He was director of examination of the Contractors Licensing Board and resident of Walker. A native of New Orleans, he died peacefully at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010, at home. He was 58 and a Navy veteran. Visiting at St. Joseph Cathedral on Wednesday, Feb. 24, from 8 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Jerry Young. Entombment in St. Joseph Cemetery, New Orleans, on Wednesday at 3 p.m. Survived by his wife, Annabel; sons, Timothy Brendan and Patrick Morgan; sister, Audrey Hopper; and brother, Kevin Servat. He was preceded in death by his parents. Leonard's love of history continued throughout his life. His faith and devotion directed his life and made him the man we knew and loved.
