Mabel Sanders Obituary

SANDERS, MABEL R. "MI MI" A resident of Baton Rouge, she died at 11 p.m. Monday, June 28, 2004, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 85 and a native of Clinton. Visitation in Seale Funeral Home chapel, Denham Springs, from 10 a.m. until service at 1 p.m. Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. Milford Walters and the Rev. Jim Nichols. Burial in Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery, Denham Springs. Survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Pat S. and Anthony Magee, Denham Springs, and Sue S. and Donald Hoover, Hammond; three granddaughters, Kelli Magee Meyers and Molli Magee Latil, both of Denham Springs, and Denise Hoover Wilson, Ponchatoula; a grandson, Donald Duane Hoover, Ponchatoula; five great-grandsons, Trent and Luke Meyers, Cole and Grant Latil and Brandon Wilson; a great-granddaughter, Hannah Wilson; and two nieces, Sue Chaney, Clinton, and Julia Castello, Ethel. Preceded in death by her husband, L. Ray Sanders; parents, Jim and Susie Richardson; and a brother, Landry Richardson. Pallbearers will be Anthony Magee, Dennis Meyers, Rick Latil and Tim Wilson and great-grandsons. Honorary pallbearers are Eddie O. Bauer, David Magee and Donald Hoover. She was a member of Winbourne Avenue Baptist Church in Baton Rouge. Memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity.
