Marie McAnelly Obituary

McAnelly, Marie Cutrer Marie Cutrer McAnelly died on Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2006, at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in McComb, Miss. She was 69, a native of Amite and a resident of McComb. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, on Thursday, Nov. 9, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Jack Roberson. Interment in Union Cemetery, Amite. She is survived by her husband, Cary McAnelly, McComb; two daughters, Cathy Lupo, Loranger, and Shirley Verberne and her husband, Philip Verberne III, Spring Creek; a son, Joe Lupo Jr. and his wife, Terri Lupo, Amite; seven grandchildren, Amy Populis, Amanda Willie, Christi Baham, Amber Easley, Shelly Verberne, Lauren Verberne and Joe Lupo III; five great-grandchildren, Noah, Nate and Niles Willie, Andy Populis and a baby Populis expected soon; two sisters, Lettie Mae Carpenter, Denham Springs, and Evon Cutrer, Amite; and two brothers, Dedrick Warren Cutrer Jr. and J.P. Cutrer, both of Amite. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dedric Warren Cutrer Sr. and Lorine Bankston Cutrer; brother, Zelton Cutrer; and an infant brother, Jimmy Ray Cutrer.
