My heart goes out to you and your family. This was so tragic and unexpected. My prayers have been with you and your family. There are never the right words to say, but there is a scripture in John 14:27 Jesus gift of peace, "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you, I do not give to you as the world gives. Your heart must not be troubled or fearful." Your little boy is with the Lord of Lords, the King of Kings, nothing will ever hurt him again. Trust in the Lord God.

THE GREATER THE LOSS
Robert, Tammy, Devin, Grandparents, family and all who loved Blaise,
As so many caring people have said before me "we don't know each other", but as a mother and grandmother, my heart aches for you. The loss of a child is the worst hurt any parent can feel, it's unbearable and something parents shouldn't have to go through. I don't know how you go on after losing a child. There are no words that anyone can say to take away or lessen the tremendous heartache and pain that you feel. I so dearly wish I could take your pain away. You and your precious little Blaise are in my thoughts everyday. I have cried a million tears for him. Nothing in my life has ever affected me as this terrible tragedy. Your sweet little boy has touched so many people, not just in this parish or state but all over the United States of America! If I were granted one wish and I would give my life for it-it would be that children would never have to die. THERE IS A NEW AND BRIGHT SHINY STAR IN OUR SKY!

I want yall to no we may not no each other but Isaw it on the news and our hearts goes out to you and your family.I can't imgain what yall are going through i no this don't conpare to your loss but i can't have children and always wanted to so bad I had a lil' pom. dog see was my life and on feb.17 i had to put her down cause she was sick and to me that was like losing my child. don't no if this will make things any better but now micheal is playing with her in heaven. she love to play chase and ball and i'm sure he did to. just remember he is your lil' angel in heaven watching over us yall. yall will for ever be in our prays.

My husband and I lost our oldest daughter at the age of 27 on June 1, 2006.Someone gave us the following poem and I want to share it with your family:

To the family of precious blaise.. even though we've never met, you are in my thoughts and prayers.. as a mother myself i sometimes fight the demons of why god would let such a thing happen to such a little innocent child..but you have to tell yourself that god has a better journey for him to travel in heaven than we did for him on earth..even though i know at this terrible heart wrenching time these words wont mean much.. nothing anyone else can say will help you heal. Especially when I realized that it was you and your family. I saw my Nanny today and asked where Dana was and she told me at the church. Tammy, I had no clue!!! My pyran is Lester. I have been away from Winn Dixie for almost a year now and don't get to see everyone like I used to. Please know that my deepest sympathy is being sent your way! Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
