Michael Joseph Logsdon

Michael Joseph Logsdon, of Geismar, LA, passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at the age of 37. He was a graduate of Redemptorist High School in Baton Rouge. Michael was employed as an industrial carpenter. He was known for his smile and his kind and loving heart. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved fishing and hunting. His daughters were the highlight of his life. He deeply loved his family and friends. He is survived by his daughters, Harlyn and Sawyer Logsdon; parents, Fred and Raye Oschwald Logsdon; brothers, Ryan (Lori), William "Will" (Kenia); niece, Olivia Logsdon and nephews, Liam and Elijah Logsdon and Brady Yarborough; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Uriel and Betty Logsdon and Ray and Aline "Doll" Oschwald; uncles, Clay Logsdon and Thomas "Tommy" Oschwald. Services will be held on Monday, May 1, 2023 at Ascension Catholic Church of Donaldsonville with visitation from 9 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am. Entombment in the church cemetery to follow. Fr. Paul Yi will be officiating assisted by Deacon Ehren "Wheeler" Oschwald. Arrangements by Ourso Funeral Home of Gonzales, LA.
