Patricia DeLoach Obituary

Patricia (Pat) Ann Hall DeLoach, "GRAM" to her Grand Children passed at 9:45 am on Friday, April 14 at her home in Baton Rouge. She was surrounded by her family. Pat was born July 26, 1940 in Omaha, Texas to parents Joseph Claud Hall and Mattie Martin Hall. She was the youngest of four daughters. Sisters Maydell Talley and Dorothy Elizabeth Tribble are deceased. She is survived by sister Bobie McAllen. Pat came into this world a fighter and led her life standing firm for what she believed was right and just. She did her best to instill those virtues into her two children, Brent Kyle DeLoach and Tonia Yvette Taj. Her husband, Sidney James DeLoach, was both her devoted husband and partner for 57 years was holding her when she left us. She both loved and cherished her three grandchildren; Nicole DeLoach, daughter of Brent and mother of Aricin Hughes; Kendra DeLoach is mother of Adisen DeLoach and Trenton Baham and Brogan Taj are both daughters of Tonia Taj. An avid animal lover, she adopted the wildlife in her backyard. She considered the Birds, Racoons and Squirrels her extended family and for over 20 years she fed them twice daily, often from her hands. In the near future, there will be a graveside service in Omaha, Texas where her ashes will be scattered at her parents graves. It was her wish that all who knew and loved her PLEASE donate to either Companion Animal Alliance, 2680 Progress Street, Baton Rouge, La. 70807 or any animal shelter of choice. We will miss Pat's strength and laughter and feel she left us way too soon.
