Will miss Mr. Joe. Everytime I would say the food is always great he would say it's because I use the same can opener. Prayers for your Family.

Fifi, Elsa, Gracie and Raul, offering our most sincere condolences upon the loss of your father. Met " Joe" and his great food at El Rio Grande in 1966. My wife and I have many great memories of watching all of you helping in the reasturant, growing up, the fabalouis food, and Joe's smile. What a life, may he and your mother forever rest in peace. Mr. Joe was a fine man, serving the Baton Rouge Community some mighty fine Mexican food. He beamed with hospitality and lived life to the fullest. God speed Sir and thanks for so many great Friday night memories!
