Shayna Stratton-Jones

Shayna Stratton-Jones, 4, passed away Monday, April 18, 2011, due to an automobile accident. She was a precious and loving angel who enjoyed horses and princesses. She leaves behind her loving mother and stepfather, Lacey Stratton Whitehead and Andrew; father and stepmother, Shawn Jones and Minnie; sister, Gracie Kaye Whitehead; stepsisters, Savanah Fae and Cheyenne Lawrence; and stepbrother, John Lawrence. Also survived by her grandparents, Ben and Lurlene Stratton, Mitchell and Melissa Jones and Tammy and Johnny Warren; stepgrandfather, Jerry Whitehead; great-grandparents, Charles and Mary "Boots" Wagner, Claude and Anne Jones, Margaret Acklen, Carl and Shirley Pailette, Bo and Fae Holloway; great-great-grandmother, Anna Mae Etier; uncle, Benjamin Riley Stratton; aunt, Chelsea Maree Jones; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service from the chapel of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home, Hammond, on Friday, April 22, at 2 p.m. with visitation beginning at noon. The Rev. Donal Chance will officiate. Interment in Blood River Baptist Church Cemetery, Albany.
