Thomas Matz Obituary

Thomas James Matz (Tom). It is with profound sadness that on Wednesday August 07, 2024 at the age of 56 Tom Peacefully passed away at the loving home of his closest nephew in Prairieville Louisiana. Proceeded in death by his father Charles Joseph Matz Sr and mother Rose Ann Matz. He is survived by his son Kendall Matz, nephew Justin Matz, brothers Joseph Matz, Charles Matz Jr, Charles Marcoux, and sister Rose Guigou and many other nieces and nephews. Tom had a passion for hunting, fishing and sharing all his gadgets with everyone he met. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Gone fishing. I've finished life's chores assigned to me, so put me on a boat headed out to sea, please send along my fishing pole, for I've been invited to the fishin' hole. Where every day is a day to fish, to fill your heart with every wish. Don't worry, or feel sad for me, I'm fishin' with the master of the sea. We will miss each other for a while, but you will come and bring your smile. That wont be long you will see, till we're together you and me. To all of those who think of me, be happy as i go out to sea. If others wonder why I'm missin' just tell'em ive gone fishin' Delmar Pepper.
