LAWRENCEBURG
Edward Scott "Scottie" Franklin, age 60, passed away Oct. 21, 2025. He was the son of the late Johnny Keith Franklin and Flora Downey Franklin.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Pamela Jo Shartzer Franklin; his children, Ashley Brown-Franklin (Buddy), Christopher L. Cox and Krista N. Shartzer (Christopher Taylor); grandchildren, James, Amelia, Blakely, Alaina, Silas and Emylou; and siblings, Sheila Clark, Johnny Franklin, Angie Kendall and Shannon Goodin.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Oct. 27, 2025, at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home, officiated by Bro. Harry Rose. Cremation will follow the services. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. until the time of service on Monday at the funeral home.
Memorial donations are suggested to the Scottie Franklin Memorial Fund, c/o Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home, P.O. Box 730 Lawrenceburg, KY 40342.
