LAWRENCEBURG
James Michael Compton, age 74, passed away on Nov. 18, 2025. Mike graduated from Harrodsburg High School and worked at Wild Turkey Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Ky., for over 29 years.
Mike is survived by his siblings, Pat (Jim) Matsunaga, Brenda (Ellis) Bryant, Rita Blandford and Denise (Richard); his sister-in-law, Karen Compton; his nephews, Matthew, Daniel and Lee; and his nieces, Theresa, Kristen, Courtney and Kim.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Bernard Compton and Mabel Thomas Compton and his brother, Tommy Compton.
Cremation was chosen, and no services are scheduled.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home, Lawrenceburg, Ky. Condolences may be shared at www.ritchieandpeach.com.
